Everywhere he goes people tend to keep their distance. Not because he’s one fourth Nyan, people could tolerate that. No, they’re scared of him because his uncle Velin Rauth is the famous war hero, or criminal depending on who you ask, better known as Anubis. Carter’s infamous uncle has dangerous plans, ones that involve treason, prison heists, and Carter somehow getting swept up in the middle of it all.
Venus is not what it used to be, and the Nyans have not forgotten or forgiven Anubis, the hybrid who almost lost them their war.
